The value for money was excellent, with a clean and tidy cottage offering everything we needed for a self-catering stay. The location of the cottage was fantastic, tucked away in a beautiful valley near the stunning Mourne mountains. The host was welcoming and accommodating, and it was reassuring to know they were just next door if we needed anything. The little touches, such as the homemade scone and provisions like coffee, tea, cereal, milk, and more. The views from the cottage were simply lovely, and Carol, who greeted us, was delightful. it was an excellent stay and great value.
Given the bad weather with lots of fog and mist, the hotel breakfast could have been improved.

I had the most incredible stay at a charming 2-bed cottage nestled at the foot of the breathtaking Mournes. The warm and welcoming host gave me a true taste of Irish hospitality. The cottage itself was cozy and comfortable, with homemade treats and essential provisions provided. The views were absolutely stunning, even though the weather played a little trick on me with fog and mist. Despite that, I still managed to enjoy walking in the majestic Mourne Mountains.
